Norge Mining 2023: A year of clarity

If there’s one word I would use to sum up this decisive year for Norge Mining, it’s clarity. 2023 has...
The way forward is now clear due to strategic discussions locally and internationally, the beneficiation studies of our CRMs and wider geopolitical events. We can now see that two global megatrends – supply chain security and net zero – are not only a backdrop, but are at the very core of our business and future operations.

Norge Mining has a clear vision: to operate the most ecologically, socially and sustainable mine for Critical Raw Materials vanadium, phosphate and titanium.

In this way, we want to create a lasting impact by contributing to a more sustainable future that global citizens are clamouring for.

More about our minerals and their uses

Norway is sitting on large, untapped mineral deposits, according to investigations so far. We are focusing our efforts on three high worldwide demand resources and EU Critical Raw Materials: vanadium, phosphate and titanium.

Phosphate

The use of phosphate fertilisers in the past 50 years has boosted crop yields and helped feed millions, if not billions, of people. But supply of this EU Critical Raw Material is emerging as a global sustainability challenge.

Vanadium

A by-product of iron-ore, vanadium is hugely valuable in manufacturing due to its malleable, ductile and corrosion-resistant qualities. This EU Critical Raw Material’s most exciting use is in efficient power storage for renewable energy.

Titanium

In 2020, the European Union added titanium to its Critical Raw Material list for the first time. With China producing 55% of the world’s titanium, the COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated global supply chain fragility – and the pressing need to look for domestic, neighbourly producers to minimise risk.

Gold

Norway has deposits of gold assets in the south of the country. Historical mining and recent sampling shows that there is potential for high grade gold mineralisation.

“Ilmenite and vanadium in the Bjerkreim-Sokndal intrusion, together, constitute a world-class resource.”

Considerate mining is at the core of our business model – in collaboration and constant communication with local neighbourhoods. Using innovation and technology, we aim to minimise any environmental impact. What’s more, some of the minerals we are sourcing will greatly contribute to a more sustainable global future.

The investment opportunity

A reliable partner, Norge Mining aims to build value for its shareholders. We will offer long-term opportunities at an attractive investment level, with significant upside compared to peers. Potential to invest in projects with this type and size of asset combination, infrastructure and location is very rare.
